Create, Connect and Share Respect

A better internet starts with you

Our whole school took part in Safer Internet Day on Tuesday 6th February.  We invited families along to learn with their children about how to use the internet in a more positive way.  We were so busy with our presentations and games that we didn't get any pictures of the adults busy at work!

Here are Primary 5 completing their pledges to do something positive online.  We'll post our completed jigsaw so you can see our pledges.  #ItStartsWithUs

Kiera and Abbie H hard at work!

Lucy S and Sarah are thinking carefully about their pledges

Mark is concentrating on his positive pledge

Playing games on the internet makes Bailey smile

Orla and Orla enjoyed discussing what their pledges will be

Abbey and Abbie M have decided on their positive pledges

Zach and Conlin are writing their pledges

Aiden is writing his pledge

Olivia enjoys chatting with friends and family online

Mayson and Alieghsha have decided on their pledges

A big thumbs up for Safer Internet Day 2018 from Jake!

Over the past 3 weeks, Primary 5 have been lucky enough to take part in Cricket lessons organised by West Dunbartonshire's Active Schools team.  We welcomed members of the Vale of Leven Cricket Club  to teach us the skills involved.  Huge thanks to Hugh, Brian and John for giving up their time to teach our young athletes this valuable sport!

If your child is interested in taking part in more lessons, you'll find the contact details here.
